Contract friction welding of parts

Since 1992 we have been providing friction welding services on machines of our own design and manufacture. Our services range from process development and prototyping to pilot series and high-volume production.

The contract welding process

  1. Process design

The welding process is developed from the drawing and the material combination.

  2. Trial welding

We weld a sample part and set the parameters for it.

  3. Pilot series

Before series production starts, the pilot series validates the process.

  4. Series production

The series is produced with process monitoring and final inspection.

Integrated, full-service solutions

We offer complete friction welding solutions – from process design and parameter optimisation through process monitoring and quality assurance to final inspection. We cover every stage of the process, ensuring efficient, reliable and cost-effective production for our partners.

Stable weld quality

The integrated monitoring and closed-loop control system ensures stable and traceable process parameters throughout the entire welding cycle.

Qualified expertise

Our processes are designed by welding engineers.

Outstanding joint strength

The strength of friction-welded joints often exceeds that of the base material.

Combining different materials

Material combinations can be welded that cannot be joined by conventional processes.

Efficiency in series production

The process can be repeated unchanged even in large series.

Flash removal on the machine

The integrated flash removal system immediately removes the excess material formed during welding, so subsequent machining is reduced or eliminated.

Our company holds the highest-level CL 1 certification under EN 15085-2:2020 for welding railway vehicle parts and railway components. Our production complies with EN 15085-2.

Request a quote

Send us the part drawing, the material combination and the planned quantity. We assess whether the part is suitable for friction welding and propose how to produce it: by contract friction welding or on a machine adapted to the task. In every case, we validate the process by trial welding.
